Service Description

We have curated the two days working with 3 directors who share the same ethos on the practicality of being an actor. As well as working on scenes, there will be career-driven advice on how to break down the barriers to get yourself seen. Diarmuid Goggins is an IFTA-nominated director with a Number-One-Rated Show on Netflix. This is the first time he has offered a chance to work with him on a one-to-one basis. As he says himself, this is the best way to form a relationship with actors that he otherwise may not get to see. Diarmuid's unique directing style has won him numerous awards along the way and promises to get the best performance from you. With huge projects lined up, this is a rare chance to work with one of the leading directors in the industry right now. Baz Black is an actor/writer/director and founder of Sure Look Productions. As an actor, Baz has been on network shows such as Into the Badlands, KIN (Seasons 1 & 2) and BRASSIC. He has written & directed 7 award-winning short films such as Merrow and Reflection. His debut Feature Film 'Dublin Crust' has just spent 6 weeks in Irish Cinemas. As an actor/director, Baz can relate to the struggles an actor faces, and approaches his mentoring style based on the fundamentals needed to maintain a career in the industry. As a director, he loves authenticity and feels this can be clouded with conflicting information. This workshop will be focused on delivering an authentic performance. Baz has a keen eye for casting and loves to work with driven actors. William Morgan is an award-winning actor/director/producer. He spent many years on stage, directing & producing in independent theatre. He has played leading roles, both comic and dramatic, in TV and Film. He was a Grand Finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards and a Finalist in Channel 4's 'So You Think You're Funny!?' in Edinburgh the same year, having never previously performed as a stand-up. He has written and directed numerous short films, music videos, and has created award-winning TV pilots. Recent work includes independent Irish feature films, including 'Dublin Crust' and 'Suit Hung. Tied Tongue'. A regular Newscheck Comedy cast member, one of his recent sketches went viral with 2M+ views.
